Alton Towers Plans the 3rd Hotel
Yes, Alton Towers owned by Merlin Entertainment discloses that the owners are thinking on building their hotel as segment of their 10-year program. The proposal that is said to be worth multi-million pounds will be passed on the oncoming months. The blueprint will entail the new hotel, heritage features and new rides. The owners see it is their way of helping the economy by creating more jobs for the locals like the 240 jobs created by their other hotel- Splash Landings Hotel.
Liz Greenwood also discloses that they had conducted a very thorough economic impact survey that their business has brought to their neighboring districts; and see a bright future with the building of this 3rd hotel. She also noted that 10 percent of the Alton tower’s guests spend their time on the resort so the 3rd hotel will make more rooms available for their guest.
The hotels in Alton Hotels do not only cater to theme park guests but also to other activities and marketing opportunity, trade bookings and conference especially during the winter months.
Liz Greenwood happily says that Alton towers theme park attractions and rides are very fitting for the children. This only shows the direction which Alton tower’s is going. They are making an effort to cater to teenage market and encouraging families to enjoy the park on a much longer time and so the need to provide for comfortable and world class accommodation is a must.
Alton Towers is the 2nd most visited theme park in United Kingdom and they are happy to say that their guest number is 8 percent higher in 2008. It is located in Staffordshire, England. Its main attractions are Nemesis, Oblivion, Air and Rita. These roller coasters are the first known inverted roller coaster, first vertical drop in the world, B&M flying, Queen of Speed roller coaster respectively.
