To Stay or Not to Stay in a Theme Park
One of the many questions of the first time theme park guests is: Will they, together with their family or friends, stay in the resort in the park or rather stay in another hotel outside the park?
For some it is better to stay out and enjoy other parts of the city where the Amusement Theme Park is located. Actually to stay or not to stay depended so much on your focus for visiting such location. For one, if the visit is intended for you to enjoy the city landmarks and other tourist destination then perhaps a stay out choice might be better.

Yet, if your focus is to enjoy Disneyland then better stay in the park’s resort. This is to assure that you won’t miss the activities for the day inside the park. Another practical thing is – to do away with traffic problems as you travel from your hotel to the Amusement Theme Park.

Alton Tower in Staffordshire, England, the UK’s most visited and famous Amusement Theme Park has a water park that can be enjoyed by kids and even adults. It also has resort and spa services. Thus, if the amusement park’s attraction getting lame then kids can jump right in the water park with their friends and family; or perhaps mom can fix herself in the spa center while the kids are roaming with their dad in the park. What I really love with Alton Tower is the family atmosphere it has. And almost a 24/7 services they offer to their guest. I am sure that it would be a satisfying stay for everybody.

Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania has been into it ups and down in history. It has been hit by a flood twice and major construction for a new building has been done. Imagine expending 11,000 man hours to get the resort working for the July 4th celebration. The admission to this park is free by the way.
Staying in a theme park resort or not is matter of prioritizing activities. But then if you have traveled half way around the world to enjoy Theme Parks, then perhaps it is better to stay in the resort to get a 100% focus on enjoying everything in the park.
