Theme Parks Fascinating News

Sometimes a vacation in a far tropical country made me long for Christmas with snow flakes gaily dancing down from skies. The snow, white covered pavements and streets are really a figment of my imagination.
Something that I missed most is the visit to Theme parks with lots of activities, little blinking, different colored lights, drape around tree branches giving a certain colored glow for every passer and theme park guest.
Yet my obsession with theme parks cannot be barred by distance and even seas. I am right now in one of the countries in South East Asia, volunteering to help a tribe. Thank goodness for the internet connection though it feels like I am lost on the tangle of big trees and large mountains.
I browsed the internet for the biggest and hottest news about theme park so as to satisfy my imagination of again spending Christmas in a theme park in the US.
Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia unwrapped its gift last November 15 to the people of the place- approximately more than a million of blinking, sparkling and glowing lights greeted the guest in the park, and of course life-size Santa Claus and Rudolph won’t be left out of these great celebrations.
Orlando has welcomed with open arms the opening of Icebar on International Drive. It is an Iced Theme Park. You are allowed to enter Icebar for 45 minutes in a thermal hooded cape, footies and gloves. Intricately made Ice sculptors are available for you to gloat over with your cameras in a 3,000 sq. feet area. The theme changes every 6 months in Icebar. So prepare your $35 and prepare to see different creations twice a year over a 50 tons ice maintained in 27 degrees.
Walt Disney never stops to make other people happy and now planning to open up another branch in Shanghai. Lucky children there indeed! And speaking of Walt Disney, Walt Disney World offer great package deals like booking for a 4 night and receive another 3 nights free.
And now, another exciting news for good boys and good girls; Christmas Theme park with Santa Claus village is now planning to open at it new location at Grizzly Jack’s Resort in Illinois. A great way for 2008 to end for those who love Santa Claus!
