Hong Kong is Home to Noah Ark Theme Park
A theme park based on the Bible character Noah and its huge ark has been built in Hong Kong and was opened last May this year. Yes, the theme park is a five story ark instead of the three story ark in the bible but this time the ark has restaurants and conference halls with a 43 room hotel. And to note that that the most expensive rooms are now booked for October.
Noah’s Ark Theme Park is Hong Kong newest pride and theme park. It really looks like a ship wreck has indeed run aground in Ma Wan’s shore which is only a 20 minute ride from the main centre by ferry. The Noah’s Ark theme park is surrounded by eateries and hotels thus accommodation is not a problem if ever you decide to drop by.
Of course curiosity will make us wonder closer to the gangplank to view the models of life size animals made from fiber class; also to be awed by the mere size of the structure which is 450 feet long, 45 feet high and 75 feet wide and the builders claimed that it is the first in the world to build an ark with such measurements based in the Bible.
If so, experiencing Noah Ark Theme Park will give you your own perspective of how big really was Noah ark and the sizes of the animals. I expect that parents will be bombarded by questions from their curios children as soon as they get over the surprise of getting so close to animals and the ark.
They estimated that 40,000 visitors paying visitors had seen the theme park since its opening. The creators of the said theme park in Hong Kong also made sure that a real rainbow can be seen from the ark thus completed the picture of the story of Noah. They have to admit that only real rainbows can complete such a theme park and that they had a problem at first of getting the real rainbow.
Like in Noah’s story and the creation of Noah’s Ark theme park the rainbow is seen as a sign from God. Though, the makers of the theme park insisted that the theme park is not created to be a religious structure but for family entertainment but if some visitors travel for religious reasons then they would not object.
