Sculpture Theme Park, Handwork of Love

When a shapeless object like wood or ice took shape of an angel or an animal or any form; the admiration of the spectator is beyond words. The simple genius of creating shapes and displayed for everyone to see is just fantastic. Better bring a magic wand to stop time to devour such experience.

Shapes that are only made in the imagination or in books are being made ‘seem’ alive and full of life in sculpture; from dinosaur to talking duck; from a crawling beast to walking monster; from cute singing mermaid to funny duckling! All these can be created in sculpture.

Sculpture Theme parks is hard to find all over the world. Except maybe during festival- I am referring to the Ice Festival in Asia which showcases all sorts of shapes. From bridges that you could walk on it to a castle complete with rooms and hallways. The sculpted figures then are dressed with lights that would shower the place with such festive glow.

Now here in Europe, sculpture of different shapes can also be found in Vigeland Sculpture Park. The work of Gustav Vigeland is being display for the visitors to get in awe. Vigeland made every figure in this part.  Vigeland Sculpture Park is located in Norway.

The work of Vigeland is divided into six parts. The Wheel of Life, The Main Gate, The Monolith, The Fountain, The Bridge, The Children’s Playground.

Each work of art has its own story to tell. A story that is carved in history! Every piece is carved by the artists hand with love. To visit one Sculpture Theme park is to visit the heart and passion of one artist; to see his soul and life for everyone to read. Visit one Sculpture Theme Park and read its life story.
