Kingda Ka: the World’s Fastest Roller Coaster
I remember the first time I ride in a roller coaster. It was just so easy to see other people yelling with gladness and thrill while they ride on it. But when I ride the roller coaster myself, I really experienced of literally “turning your world upside down”!
But I think the ride I had with an ordinary roller coaster is incomparable to the world’s fastest roller coaster– and this is the Kingda Ka.
Kingda Ka is the world’s tallest roller coaster built since 2006 with a height of 456 feet; and also the world’s fastest with a top speed of 128 mph with the same year. It is located in Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.
It is a hydraulic launch rocket coaster-type of roller coaster, and mind you, the 50.6-second ride will definitely make you go excitingly accelerated with its speed, height, and drop! This is one thrilling ride that you definitely don’t want to miss!
The height of Kingda Ka is so visible throughout the amusement park. If you are riding while it slowly goes up to its peak, there’s no turning back! It’s 90-degree ascent and descent will definitely makes riders go insane. They will shout at the top of their lungs. In fact, some riders were heard that they actually peed on their pants due to their unexplainable feeling.
Riders could hardly open their eyes while they are riding Kingda Ka. If they happened to open it, this is definitely occasional. They are actually zoomed up to the tower and rapidly brought down with its vertical spiral. The only thing you could possibly do is to scream with all your might and feel the sudden increase of your adrenalin!
Once you ride in Kingda Ka, according to Arthur Levine, one ride is definitely enough. But despite the enormous thrill and indescribable fear, nothing beats the excitement especially to those who have not tried riding it.
Do you want to try it yourself? Go ahead, and prepared to be thrilled!
