Theme Park; its Newest and Hottest Technology

Microchip used in RFID

How can one Theme Park fish out the word “awesome” from their kids visitors or guest in general?

Bring in ….the Newest and Hottest Technology in the park. A surefire way of creating such wide lists of visitors and fan all over the world!

So let us glimpse on the electronic machineries that Theme Parks around the world use to augment the guest appreciation.

RFID wristband means Radio frequency Identification wristband. The wristband is equipped with special microchips that allow parent to locate their children’s position in the Theme Park vicinity. It was given to guest of a theme park in Florida.

3D Technology in Theme Park is not new to this industry. Universal Orlando and Disneyland are just two of the famous parks that use this kind of technology. And Legoland is bringing a notch higher and new dimension of 3D technology called 4D technology into their park in partnership with RealD. This time it is not merely a 3D but more so. As they aim to bring the element of wind and water into their creation. How? That is for us to experience as soon as the project realizes.

Superman ride in Six Flag that can make you experience weightlessness in a few seconds. The cars are sped up by the use of electromagnet.

Animatronic Dinosaurs is robot dinosaur designed for Dubai Theme Park to be opened late 2008. Animaltronic Dinosaur means Animal Electronic Dinosaurs. A T. Rex animatronic dinosaur is the first to be built of the planned 40.

These are just a few of the modern technology to boost the enjoyment of guests in theme parks. Theme Parks developer and designer always have something up their sleeve.

What do you think would be the next in-thing technology in theme parks? For you what is your ultimate theme park dream experience?

…. how does a virtual reality on its highest level of development sound; comparable to the world in Matrix Movie, this is my ultimate them park dream? What is yours?

Most Frightening Halloween Theme Park in Europe

Halloween Party, trick or treat activities and jack-o-lantern are normal event and views during Halloween. We always really await those events not to be scared by kidding adults but by the candies and chocolates that awaits us on the Halloween Night Party.

Now that we are teenagers we are now shy to join in with those kids and knock on our neighbors doors and ask , “Trick or Treat?” well, at fourteen I consider myself as an adult. And of course I won’t join my kid brother with his antics for the Halloween. Instead I would go to a Halloween Theme Park together with some friends to hang around and see whats new on this year in Alton Towers in Staffordshire.

If you think you are old enough to be strutting your neighborhood streets with the scariest make-up you could ever make then check the most frightening Halloween them park in Europe and get ready to be scared.

Alton Towers in Staffordshire, England won’t be left out in celebrating Halloween with a big bang. It attracts guest to almost 2.5 million last year 2007. Thus it was tagged as the most visited and popular theme park in the United Kingdom.

Elton Towers will meet 2008 Halloween party with a very special sequence of events starting on October 17 that would last on November 2.Even children are invited to enjoy the Halloween fever in this park at only 26 pound per child and 35 pound per adult.

There are so many surprises that await the family. Enjoy screaming your heart out in the Maze named Terror of the Towers in fact children below 14 are not allowed to enter the maze. That made me wonder what they had in store for us this year.

Last year was such a great experience in Alton tower; I enjoyed being scared out of my wits. I was half laughing with fright and fun that made us talk about it for almost two weeks. It was a good heart exercised indeed.

Cedar Point, Roller Coaster Aficionado Haven

If roller coaster fun is burning like liquid fire in your vein then Cedar Point is the answer to it all. The Cedar Point roller coasters have varying range of speed, steepness, loops and turns. All types of roller coaster that fit your limitations are awaiting every one in cedar point. Indeed, it lives to its name ‘the roller coaster capital of the world.’

Cedar Point is situated in Ohio USA on a protruding peninsula into Lake Erie. It is holding world records for having the most number of roller coasters. That explains why every desired roller coaster is available in just a wish. If you wanted to have a slower and friendlier to the hearts roller coaster then it is available here in Cedar Point.

One of the 17 roller coaster in Cedar Point is also holding the record of the second tallest at the same time the second fastest in the whole wide world.

Here is the list of the best the roller Coaster rides in Cedar Point I have ridden.

  • Blue Streak- The oldest and most loved roller coaster in Cedar Point. This roller coaster has a sentimental value both to the owner and clients of Cedar Point.

  • Wild Cat- Indeed a very Wild ride. It is a wild mouse kind of coaster.

  • Gemini- It is the blending of steel roller coaster and hybrid wood. Cedar Point says that this is the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the whole world.

  • Disaster Transport- The ride that shake my spirit. It will indeed swing from its track for the wheels are differently constructed like that of a traditional roller coaster.

  • Wicked Twister- this roller coaster indeed lives up to its name. A wicked ride that would really try ones courage on top of the roller coaster.

  • Millennium Force- this roller coaster has the highest point. Just by looking at it imaginations of thrill rides will pop up in ones imagination.

  • Mean Streak- The longest roller coaster ride in Cedar Point.

Just a word of advice; try to relax before hitting one coaster to another; seven roller coaster in a day indeed is the most that my mind and body could ride.

Mantis Ride, Time to scream your heart out

Roller coasters really amaze me and thrills me always as do my father and grand fathers. Though they don’t ride super wild roller coasters anymore as they reached the latest stage of adult life; but younger pictures of them in it still are plastered all over the albums; boasting wild grins and laughter; surely they were enjoying the best time of their amusement park life those days; and considering the progress of science and technology our roller coaster in our era is the best scream inducing machine in this century.

Then visiting the amusement park that has it all- Cedar Point – has made my illusion a reality. The illusions of sharing a scream with my wife and children have now become a reality. Mantis Ride then became our favorite ride in Cedar point. It is like a roller coaster with its twist and turn but the difference is the passengers are standing.

Yeah! You’ve got to do your 360 degrees turn standing up. This would mean facing the challenge of speed in an upright position. Easy right? Just try it man.

The makers of Cedar Point had made sure that the Mantis is not the only one who could thrill amusement park goers; there are so many rides that could surely get the same intensity in the scream scale.

Cedar Point with its century old experience has always something up in its sleeve; something new and innovative that is sought after by thrill seekers. It is situated in Sandusky, Ohio, United States.

My family love different rides in Cedar Point. My wife would love to spend a lifetime riding Demon Drop if she was given the chance to get hooked with a ride in the amusement park. The ride was one of the kinds in the US that is till running until now.

Waves of fun in Quassy Amusement Park

Quassy Amusement Park is already 100 years old this year. It is a traditional amusement park in Middlebury, Connecticut USA. The relaxed attitude of the park with the much simpler games attract many teens compared to the technology controlled games usually found in newly built amusement parks. Simpler rides like a train ride going around the park, boat rides, bumper cars and roller coaster also made the fun more genuine. Rides way back a 100 years ago are well maintained and kept that made the ambiance of the amusement park oldies and traditional and attractive at that.

A hundred years Amusement Park old ought to bring back its patrons with their families of three generation. It is like playing the same games that your grandmother had played many decades ago or riding the same rides your parents had rode years ago.

Among the amusement parks in the US, Quassy Amusement Park is one of the cheapest and the attractive. Quassy Amusement Park charges only $3 and that cover every ride and the food here is very cheap.

Besides the rides Quassy Amusement Park also has a water area with a few water attractions. Yes, indeed after years of being addicted to technology it is time to visit amusement parks like Quassy Amusement Park.
